MUB Photovoltaic Panel Data
At 08:16 am on Thursday, August 13th 2009, the MUB Photovoltaic Panel power
output is 3.589 watts.
This could light the 100 watt lightbulbs
shown below:
The average N.H. house electrical energy consumption per year is
about 7500 kiloWatt hours. Since our nominal one kiloWatt
photovoltaic array will supply about 1500 kiloWatt hours per year, 5
such two axis tracking arrays could supply all the electric energy
for this average house each year, as long as the house is connected
to the grid under the "net metering" law so that energy not needed in
the summer can be "loaned" to the power company and "taken back"
when needed.
